As a part of my Animation II class at Champlain College, we were tasked with picking a quadruped rig and animating a locomotion cycle. I chose to use a leopard and animated it in a full speed. looping run. Learning to animate a quadruped as opposed to the usual biped I've worked with was definitely a challenge, however, I believe my inclination towards dance-based animation prepared me for this assignment by giving me a background in IK limb interaction.
